Design And Implementation Of SNMP Protocol Module In ?C/OS-? Operating System

With the development of technology in network, the management and requirements have been constantly improved, SNMP protocol has been used widely, so SNMP has a very important significance in the network management.In this paper, we give a requirement in the SNMP protocol in ?C/OS-II operating system, based on describing the SNMP protocol structure and the characteristics of ?C/OS-II operating system, and we show the possibility of realizing the process. Through realizing the process in SNMP protocol, and giving the design method in management information base, we meet the functional requirements and implement process of SNMP protocol on the system.The paper has a detailed description of the work of the SNMP protocol in the implementation process. With the introduction of the project background and significance, we can easily see that the realization of SNMP protocol has a value in the situation. we can understand the way in solving the problems in the process of developing in SNMP in the past. Then in the analysis of the basic architecture of SNMP protocol and the related characteristics of ?C/OS-II platform operating system, here comes the function module needs to realize. according to the demand,we divide the whole process into two parts, the transmission of the message in SNMP protocol and dealing with Trap message. Besides, we make the method in developing the MIB based on understanding the structure of MIB. Then according to the design of the module, we make the function to be realized and the process can make the system doing the operation, at the same time, doing the expansion in the MIB datebase structure, it can achieve the goal that all function in SNMP come true. Finally, with testing the module function in SNMP, the results display that function has been realized.
