The Impact Of Contemporary Chinese Nationalism On Ideological And Political Education Of College Students And Countermeasures

Since the 1990 s, contemporary Chinese nationalism has had an important influence on the development of Chinese society. And with the further spread of globalization, it presents new characteristics and becomes a major issue that needs further researching and discussing in Chinese ideological field. China's young people especially the college students have access to the forefront of social thought, ideology and culture. So their ways of thinking and life are most likely to be influenced and then changed. Development and concrete manifestation of the contemporary Chinese nationalism, and realizing the role of the nationalism in the ideological and political education work among college students have important practical significance on building rational and harmonious Chinese nationalism, and on achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This paper studies and analyzes from such perspectives as the present situation of college students' understanding of contemporary nationalism and their opinions.
