| Objective:In order to study the hypoxic injury to endothelial function in hypertensive Tibetan patients,we performed a series of experiments to measure the vascular endothelial function changes. Methods:Ninety patients with primary hypertension from December 2016 to December 2017 were enrolled and divided in 3 groups according to different elevations, which included 30 cases in Minhe county(1800 meters altitude),30 cases(2800 meters altitude)in Gangcha county and 30 cases in Yushu city(2800 meters altitude). All the patients lived in the grouped places for more than 10 years. The venous blood from these patients was collected to test endothelin-1(ET-1),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),hypoxia inducible factor 1 alpha(HIF-1 a)and brachial artery flow mediated vasodilation(FMD).Results:There was no difference in the factors such as SBP,DBP,BMI,HDL,LDL,FPG,TG,TC among the groups(P>0.05),neither was the hypertensive drugs(P>0.05).The concentration of ET-1 increased gradually with the elevation of altitude(P<0.05),which was 64.09 ± 19.07,103.77 ± 16.71 and 135.80 ± 18.91pg/ml in 1800,2800 and 3800 meters elevation. The concentration of VEGF also increased with the altitude(P<0.05),which was 188.11± 19.73,260.51 ± 24.54 and 322.91 ±25.56 pg/m L in three groups. The level of serum HIF-1 showed the same changes(P<0.05),which was 34.95 ± 25.27,48.87 ± 4.66 and 60.79 ± 5.54 pg/m L.The concentration of HIF-1 also increased with altitude(P<0.05),which was 34.95 ± 25.27,48.87 ± 4.66 and 60.79 ± 5.54 pg/m L in three separate groups. However, the FMD decreased with the elevation of altitude(P<0.05),which was(7.73 ± 1.85)%,(5.73 ± 1.71)% and(3.81± 1.49%)in the three different groups. Conclusions:The concentration of ET-1,VEGF and HIF-1α increased with the elevation,at the same time, the value of FMD gradually decreased.Through our data,With the elevation of altitude and the decrease of oxygen concentration, the vascular endothelial function was obviously impaired accordingly. |
