Objective:This study observed vascular endothelial growth factor(vascularendothelial growth factor,VEGF) and hypoxia-inducible factor1alpha(hypoxia-inducible factor1alpha,HIF-1α) in the expression in tissue ofbreast cancer,to explore the expression of vascular endothelial factor withhypoxia induced factor relationship with the biological characteristics of breastcancer, as well as the correlations between vascular endothelial factor withhypoxia induced factor. Methods:In70cases of breast cancer postoperativestorage paraffin wax as experimental observation object,10cases of normalbreast tissue as a comparison, use immunohistochemistry method detectedexpression of HIF-1α and VEGF in two groups, and discuss the clinical andpathological features in different the expression meaning. Results:The positiveexpression rates of HIF-1αand VEGF in70cases of breast cancer respectivelyfor92.9%(65/70) and65.7%(46/70), and the rates of adjacent normal tissues respectively for45.7%(32/70) and34.3%(24/70), as well as, HIF-1α andVEGF in10cases of normal breast tissue expression rate was bothnegative.Therefore, the positive expression rates of HIF-1αand VEGF in breastcancer were significantly higher than that in adjacent normal tissues and normalbreast tissue (P <0.01);the positive expression rates of HIF-1αand VEGF has nosignificant correlation with tumor size and estrogen receptor(estrogenreceptor,ER) or progestrone receptor(progestrone receptor,PR),but they areclosely related with clinical stage and lymph node metastasis (P <0.05).Inaddition,the expression rates of HIF-1α in breasr cancer has no significanrcorrelation with the patient’s age and menopausal status (P>0.05),but they arestill closely related with histological grade(P>0.05);and the expression rates ofVEGF has no significant correlation with histological grade,but it still closelyrelated with patient’s age and menopausal status(P<0.05). Conclusion:Theexpression of HIF-1αand VEGF are high in breast cancer,may indicates poorprognosis;and that are associated with the malignancy degree of tissue,it promptHIF-1αand VEGF may be predicted breast cancer invasion, metastasis andprognosis of important indicators. |
