Clinical Efficacy Of Xifeng Huatan Tongluo Decoction In The Treatment Of Acute Ischemic Stroke

Objective:This research aims at evaluating the clinical efficacy and safety of xifeng huatan tongluo Decoction on acute ischemic stroke patients,by obseving the changes of NIHSS score,TCM symptom score,the liver and kidney function and coagulation function etc in the treatment.Methods:This research adopts the randomized controlled research method,Total included 74 patients who meet the inclusion criteria,3 7patients was regarded as observation group,37 patients as control group.The diagnosis and treatment of both are according to the guide " Diagnosis and treatment of acute ischemic stroke in China Guide 2014" formulated by Chinese Medical Association.We developed the clinical pathways standardized about medical treatment which established by this guide.The routine treatment was used to each group.In addition,the observation group also be treated by Chinese medicine "xifeng huatan tongluo Decoction".The treatment cycle is two weeks.All the subjects were tests by NIHSS score and TCM symptom score for three times:the first day,the 7th day and the 14th day.We observed security indicators such as liver and kidney function,coagulation function and ECG.At last,by statistically analyzing the data,we evaluate the safety and efficacy of " xifeng huatan tongluo Decoction " in treatment of acute cerebral apoplexy patients.Results:(1)A total of 74 patients were included in this experiment,and 72 patients completed the experimental observation.One case was lost in each group,the total failure rate is 2.70%.(2)Before the treatment,there is no statistical significance in the gender,age,course of disease,NIHSS score and TCM symptom score etc between the two groups.(3)The result shows that the effective rate of observation group is 86.11%,the rate of the other group is 63.89%.There is significant different between the two groups(P<0.05).(4)NIHSS score:After 7th day,the NIHSS score of both show apparent change(P<0.01).But the NIHSS score of observation group declines obviously(P=0.048<0.05).After full course treatment,the score of the two groups also declines apparently(P<0.01).Compared with control group,the score of observation group changes more obviously.The difference is significant(P＝0.040<0.05).(5)TCM symptom score:After 7th day,the TCM symptom score of the two groups has changed apparently(P<0.01).Otherwise,the TCM symptom score of observation group reduces obviously(P=0.035<0.05).After 14th day,the TCM symptom score of both also has changed markedly(P<0.01).Nevertheless,The TCM symptom score of observation group reduced more obviously.There is significant difference between the two groups(P=0.032<0.05).(6)Security analysis:During the treatment,patients not covered by discomfort,the function were not statistically significant compared with control group(P>0.05).There is no abnormal change about the ECG between two groups.Conclusion:(1)The research shows that "xifeng huatan tongluo Decoction" can significantly improved clinical symptoms and signs,improve the patient’s living quality.(2)During the treatment,"xifeng huatan tongluo Decoction" shows no obvious untoward effective,and actually proves to be favorably safe.
