| Objective: To observe the effects of treating Perimenopausal Syndrome of Deficiency of Yin of Liver and Kidney by the methods of acupuncture therapy combined with box moxibustion at Sihua point,so as to definite the curative effect, improve the clinical efficacy and life quality of patients. Methods: Randomly divide 60 patients who got treatment at Hubei province hospital of traditional Chinese medicine from 2017.3 to 2018.1 and meet the standards of perimenopausal syndrome of deficiency of Yin of liver and kidney into two groups: Group A and Group B,30 cases for each.Group A was treated by regular acupuncture combined with box moxibustion.First let patients lie down, then acupuncture Guanyuan(CV 4),Sanyinjiao(SP 6),Taixi(KI 3),Taichong(LR 3),Zhaohai(KI 6)points,and all take both sides.Treat Guanyuan(CV 4),Sanyinjiao(SP 6)points with twirling –reinforcing manipulation, and the others with mild reinforcing-reducing method.Keep the needle for 30 minutes.Second let patients lie prostrate, then treat Shenshu point with twirling-reinforcing manipulation and keep the needle. At the same time, treat Sihua point(Geshu(BL 17)and Danshu(BL 19)points at both sides)with box moxibustion for 30 minutes.Group B was treated only with regular acupuncture. Both groups are treated once every other day,3 times a week.Define 6 times treatment as a course, and 3 courses for all the period.Observe and compare the scores of Modified Kupperman symptom score Index(KMI),Menopause-specific quality of life(MENQOL)before and after the treatment,so as to evaluate the results. Results: Compare the data of two groups: Ages and courses of the disease make no sense at statistics(All P>0.05),and scores of Modified KMI and MENQOL have no statistical difference between both groups, which means comparability is effective.(All P>0.05).Scores of two groups on Modified KMI and MENQOL are all lowered after all the treatment(All P<0.05),which means both methods would improve symptoms of perimenopausal syndrome and life quality of patients. Moreover, both groups made improvement at cardiovascular symptoms, psychological symptoms and physical symptoms. The difference was statistically significant(All P<0.05).But the scores have no statistical significance in sexual life before and after the treatment(All P > 0.05).Both methods would improve cardiovascular symptoms, psychological symptoms and physical symptoms, but not in sexual life. After all the treatment, scores of group A on Modified KMI and MENQOL are apparently all lower than group B(All P<0.05),which means group A made more improvement at symptoms of perimenopausal syndrome and life quality of patients than group B.In MENQOL,the scores of group A on cardiovascular symptoms 、 psychological symptoms and physical symptoms are all lower than group B,the difference was statistically significant(All P<0.05).But in the aspect of sexual life, although score of Group A is also lower than group B’s,it still has no statistical significance(P>0.05).So Group A is better than group B not only at improving cardiovascular symptoms, but also psychological symptoms and physical symptoms. After all the treatment, the total effective rate of group A is 86.67%(30/30),while group B is 62.07%(29/30),which shows the total effect of treatment of group A is better than group B.After examination of χ2,χ2=5.987,P=0.024(<0.05).The difference of comparison with both groups was statistically significant(All P <0.05).Conclusion: 1.Treating perimenopausal syndrome of deficiency of Yin of liver and kidney by acupuncture therapy combined with box moxibustion at Sihua point are better than sole regular acupuncture, mainly reflects in symptoms and life quality.2.Acupuncture therapy combined with box moxibustion at Sihua point mostly improve patients’ life quality in cardiovascular symptoms, psychological symptoms and physical symptoms.3.Acupuncture therapy combined with box moxibustion at Sihua point enjoys higher total effective rate, improves perimenopausal syndrome symptoms, and life quality of patients(reflected in cardiovascular symptoms, psychological symptoms and physical symptoms). |
