Clinical Research Of Qingfei Huatan Tang Treatment On Acute Exacerbation Of Senile Chronic Bronchitis（Phlegm-heat Depressing Lung）

Objective: To Observed the clinical efficacy and safety of Qingfei Huatan tang treatment on acute exacerbation of senile chronic bronchitis with phlegm-heat depressing lung syndrome.Methods: Eighty-four patients were investigated according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.They were randomly divided into treatment group 42 cases and control group 42 cases.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine: cefaclor sustained-release tablets 0.375 g,orally,twice daily;ambroxol hydrochloride tablets 30 mg,orally,3 times a day.Treatment group: Conventional Western medicine treatment plus clearing lung and resolving phlegm tang.After 10 days,the total scores,clinical symptoms,physical signs,efficacy indexes,and safety indicators of the two groups before and after treatment were observed and compared,and the results were analyzed by SPSS22.0.Results: Seventy case were planned to be investigate and 84 cases were actually investigated,4 cases were excluded or off,80 cases were in accordance with the protocol,treatment group and control group each 40 cases.1.After one course of treatment,the total effective rates of the disease in the treatment group and the control group were 92.5% and 77.5%,respectively.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05);2.The total effective rate of symptoms in the treatment group and the control group was 95.0 % and 80.0% respectively,and the total score of the treatment group decreased significantly more than the control group(P <0.01);3.Comparison of symptoms and signs between the two groups,the treatment group to improve the main symptoms including cough,sputum volume,sputum color,gasp,rales lung sound,and improve secondary symptoms including chest tightness,fever,sore throat,thirst,urine yellow,dry stool efficacy was better than the control group(P<0.05).4.Before and after treatment,the two groups of patients with chest X-ray improvement is not obvious;Both the control group and the treatment group were able to significantly reduce the number of white blood cells and the percentage of neutrophils(P<0.05).The therapeutic group had better efficacy in reducing the white blood cell count and neutrophil percentage than the control group.5.The comparison of the time used to reduce the severity of symptoms and signs in the two groups :the time of the treatment group was significantly shorter than that of the control group(p<0.01).6.Comparison of Tongue and Pulse: The treatment group could significantly improve the tongue and tongue coating(P<0.05),but the improvement of pulse status was not obvious(P>0.05).The control group had no obvious improvement in tongue,tongue,and pulse(P>0.05).7.The treatment group patients with blood,liver and kidney function,electrolytes,urine,stool routine before and after treatment no significant abnormalities.Conclusion: Qingfei Huatan Decoction can improve the symptoms and voices of Chinese patients with chronic bronchitis,acute exacerbation of phlegm-heat syndrome,reduce the number of white blood cells,neutrophil percentage,shorten the time to improve symptoms,and no obvious side effects.
