The Clinical Observation Of Modified Zisheng Decotion On The Treatment Of Irritable Bowel Syndrome Diarrhea Predominant With(Spleen And Stomach Weakness Syndrome)

Objective:This paper aims at observing and assessing the clinical effects of Modified Zisheng Decotion on the TCM clinical symptoms and life quality of patients with irritable bowel syndrome diarrhea predominant(IBS-D)as well as discussing its mechanism.By analyzing the results of the clinical observation,a new way or a new medicine to treat patients with IBS-D is expected to find out.Method:Patients coming to our department because of spleen,stomach,liver or gall problems during Mar 2016 and Dec.2016 will be numbered in the clinical observation,and divided into two groups—the Observation Group and the Treatment Group,as long as they are qualified and volunteer to be involved in this research.During this process,the number of the drop-out patients in Observation Group and Treatment Group is 2 and 3respectively,making the final effective patient number 40 and 39 respectively.Data concerning the safety index,syndrome of Chinese medicine and life quality of the subjects of these two groups before and after taking the pills will be graded and recorded.All the collected data will be analyzed statistically by software SPSS21.0.Results:1.Total Effective Rate: 92.5% for Observation Group(Modified Zisheng Decotion)and71.7% for Treatment Group,P=0.01<0.05,which means Modified Zisheng Decotion is more effective on patients with IBS-D than Shenling Baizhu Capsule.2.Comparison among Groups: No differences about clinical symptoms are shown in these two groups before the treatment.The mark of Observation Group is significantly lower than that of Treatment Group.As for comparison in the symptom improvement,there are marked differences,especially in excrement,abdominal distention,languish,laziness to talk,bad appetite as well as abnormal borborygmus,while no big differences in abdominal pain,tiredness and sallow complexion.3.Comparison within each group: After the treatment,the mark of Chinese medicine of the Observation Group is remarkably lower,while that of the Treatment Group is relativelylower.4.Life Quality: No marked differences are shown concerning the life quality before the treatment.However,the marks of both groups are higher after the treatment in the dimensions except the body role.5.After the treatment,the marks in Observation Groups are significantly higher in each dimension after the treatment,while that in Treatment Groups is slightly higher than before.Conclusion:By the clinical observation,we can come to an conclusion that Modified Zisheng Decotion is very effective in treat patients with IBS-D.It plays a significant role in improving patients ’symptoms and life quality and it is worth widely using in clinic with good effect and safety guaranteed.
