Diarrhea-predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome Diagnosis And Treatment Evaluation Of The Efficacy Of The Quality Of Life Before And After Treatment

Objective : To observe the TCM treatment effects in treating diarrhea-irritable bowel syndrome (D-IBS) and its influence on patients'quality of life based on syndrome differentiation.Methods:According to related standard,the research was designed by the strict clinical research methods. 50 suitable cases of diarrhea-irritable bowel syndrome were selected in Combination of Clinical Practice,typing patients in liver-stagnation and spleen-deficiency,hypofunctioning of spleen and stomach,yang deficiency of spleen and kidney,damp-heat in spleen and stomach 4 types based on syndrome differentiation,then given corresponding treatments. The therapeutic course was 1 month. The changes of clinical symptom and the quality of life were observed and compared.Results:The total effective rate was 90.0%.The clinical symptoms and quality of life were significantly improved after treatment.Conclusions:Based on syndrome differentiation,TCM treatment has the effect of improving the life quality and clinical symptom in treating D-IBS.
