Objective1.To investigate the prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome in middle-elderly hypertensive patients with non-snoring.2.To improve the treatment and reduce the morbidity and mortality of hypertension.MethodsThe patients with primary hypertension with non-snoring and ESS<9 by the Berlin Sleep Quality Assessment Scale and the Epworth Sleepiness Assessment from September 2016 to April 2017 at the first Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University were include, and these patients'age were over 45 years old.The patients 'sex, age, smoking history, height, weight, blood pressure, blood biochemistry examinations, polysomnography and the AHI values were recorded. The detection of OSAHS in non-snoring patients and its characteristics were measured.Results1.A total of 112 patients of middle-elderly hypertensive(aged 45 to 88 years olds)with non-snoring were included.Took 60 years old as the boundary to group into middle-aged group(50 cases)and older age-group(62 cases),mean age were 52.7213.92 years old and 70.19±16.93 years old, respectively. There were 62 males and 50 females. There were 65 cases were diagnosed with OSAHS,the detection rate was 58.04%,of which mild, moderate and severe were 47 cases,13 cases and 5 cases,respectively.2.Among the 65 cases diagnosed with OSAHS,29 cases were male(38.39%)and 22 females(19.64%),there were statistically significant difference between the two groups(P= 0.034).Among the 65 cases diagnosed with OSAHS,29 cases were at the middle aged group(25.89%)and 36 cases were at the elderly group(32.14%),but there were no statistically significant difference(P=0.405).Among the 65 cases diagnosed with OSAHS,29 cases were smoking(25.89%),36 cases were non-smoking(34.82%),there were statistically significant difference between the two groups(P=0.038).Among the 65 cases diagnosed with OSAHS,27 cases with BMI<24kg/m2,(24.11%),26 cases with BMI between 24 and 28 kg/m2 in(23.21%),12 cases with BM28kg/m2(10.7 1%),but there were no statistically significant difference(P = 0.128).3.Among the 65 cases of diagnosed with OSAHS,there were 1 case with hypertension 1(1.79%),21 cases with hypertension 2(18.75%),42 cases with hypertension 3(37.50%),but there were no statistically significant difference(P =0.856).4.FBG(6.17±2.31)mmol/L,TC(4.35±1.08)mmol/L,TG[1.46(1.18-2.26)]mmol/L,LDL-C(2.95±0.86)mmol/(0,1010.29 mmol)and UA(404.94 ±128.76)?mol/L in OSAHS group. There were statistically significant difference in UA and TG(P<0.05),but there were no statistically significant between two groups in FBG,TC,LDL-C and HDL-C(P>0.05).Conclusion1.The prevalence of OSAHS in middle-elderly hypertensive patients with non-snoring was 58.4%,and the patients were mainly mild.2.The non-snoring middle-elderly hypertensive patients with OSAHS were related to gender, but not age,BMI.3.The non-snoring middle-elderly hypertensive patients with OSAHS might be independent of blood pressure levels.4.The non-snoring middle-aged hypertensive patients with OSAHS is related with the uric acid...
