Objective:to understand the impact of the Centralized Procurement of Drugs on hypertension control in middle-aged and elderly people in Jiangxi Province,and to provide suggestions for further improving Centralized Procurement of Drugs.Methods:selected from Nanchang city according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,140 patients with essential hypertension in Qingyunpu District of Nanchang City from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects.According to the Centralized Procurement of Drugs with the most obvious drug price reduction and the medication habits of general practitioners visiting Qingyunpu health service center,the most representative centralized drug "Amlodipine Besylate Tablets" was selected.They were divided into observation group according to whether they took"Amlodipine Besylate Tablets" including but not limited to the centralized drug"Amlodipine Besylate Tablets".Control group:taking drugs,not including centralized drug "amlodipine besylate tablets".The differences of blood pressure control and medication compliance between the two groups before and after the Centralized Procurement of Drugs were analyzed.Results:after the implementation of the Centralized Procurement of Drugs,the overall blood pressure control and medication compliance of patients were higher than those before the implementation of the Centralized Procurement of Drugs,and the blood pressure control and medication compliance of the observation group with obvious drug price reduction were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05)Conclusion:The Centralized Procurement of Drugs reduces the price of drugs by taking advantage of the advantages of market economy.It can reduce the cost of drugs,ensure the bioequivalence of drugs,reduce the government’s medical expenses,improve the medication compliance of middle-aged and elderly patients with hypertension in the community,and improve the blood pressure control of patients.
