Academic Ideological Origins Of Stems And Branches Acupuncture

Research purposes:Through studying on the ideological origin of the British Heavenly Stems-Earthly Branches(HS-EB)acupuncture,the feasible methods for the spread of the Chinese acupuncture and culture have been explored systematically to reveal the culture rules of the spread of the west transmission of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),which promotes the better spread of the Chinese acupuncture on west.Understanding and combing the morphology of TCM in western society helps the country to have a deeper understanding on TCM.Research method: Through adopting the methods of literature research,comparative research,composite analysis and so on,the theoretical basis,the etiology and pathogenesis and the treatment plan of the British HS-EB acupuncture have been studied systematically.Through combing the history of the west transmission of TCM,the form and development of the west TCM also have been investigated for the better understanding of the domestic TCM,which helps us to look for the breakthrough of the west transmission of TCM.Research contents: the research contents of this paper are based on the study on the ideological origin of the British HS-EB acupuncture,which includes four parts as following: Firstly,through investigating the source of the HS-EB acupuncture,we have studied its the history,summarized its the developmental process and researched its academic inheritance.Secondly,the practical application of the HS-EB acupuncture in diagnosis and therapy has also been studied.The diagnosis characteristics of the British HS-EB acupuncture have been systematically analyzed.And the British HS-EB acupuncture is compared with the British Wu-Xing acupuncture,midnight-midday ebb flow acupuncture and Linggui Bafa acupuncture.Thirdly,the enlightenment of the form and development of the British HS-EB acupuncture on the global development of the acupuncture has been studied.Based onliterature researches,anthropology and historiography,we summarize and analyze the characteristics of the British HS-EB acupuncture,improve the overseas study of TCM history and literature,which advocates beneficial enlightenment and reference of the global development of the acupuncture.Fourthly,based on the HS-EB acupuncture and cultural anthropology,the west TCM has been systematically studied,which offers a new route for thinking and researching the internationalization of the TCM and Chinese culture.Conclusion: the study of the British HS-EB acupuncture focus on circulation,transformation and interaction of the energy between people and people,people and environment,which is rich in content and broad in thought.Through using the HS-EB acupuncture as entry point,the west TCM is more diverse,stronger in culture than the domestic TCM.The west TCM originates from the TCM,but the formation and development of TCM have been greatly influenced by the western society,politics,economy and culture.Thus,the researchers should study the west TCM with open mind and dialectical approach.
