| Objective: We observed the clinical curative effects on the diabetic foot superficial wounds(the 1st or 2nd degree ulcer wounds according to the Wagner stage method)by coming the Taohong Siwu Decoction as a major component for external lotion and the sack of ozone for bath feet.Methods: We chose 90 diabetic foot patients in the department of wound repair(The Second Hospital Of Dalian Medical University)from March.2015 to December.2016.The 90 patients were divided into 3 groups randomly,namely,control group,treatment group 1,treatment group 2.Each group had 30 patients.The control group was given symptomatic treatment,such as debridement,anti-inflammatory,hypoglycemic and lipid-lowering,decompression,improve circulation,nerve nutrition and anti-coagulation.The patients were instructed with diabetes diet and positive psychological suggestion.In the foundation of control group,the patients in the Group 1 were treated with the Ozone Gas Bath therapy,that was,the patients’ ulcer wounds were exposed to the ozone gas bath by using the ozone medical apparatus and some associated equipments.The whole process took about half an hour.In the foundation of control group,the patients in Group 2 were treated with the Taohong Siwu Decoction as the external lotion and the Ozone Gas Bath therapy.The water temperature was between 37 degree and 40 degree,and the time also should be controlled strictly about 15 minutes(not less than 1 minutes or no more than 1 minutes).There were four experimental observation indicators.They were: Ankle Brachial Index(ABI),the oxyhemoglobin saturation of the ends of the toes,the degree of wounds healing,and the symptom score.One course of treatment of the experiment could last 20 days.All the indexes of three groups and the detailed situation before and after a period of treatment should be observed.Statistical software SPSS22.0 was applied for data analysis and further study on the differences of indexes between the groups.Also we paid attention to the safety of the treatment during the whole experiment.If appearing some harmful responses,it need to be analyzed whether it was related to the medicine,or it was related to the therapy.Every patient in the experiment should sign the informed consent of the experimentConsequence:1、For the ABI,there was no statistical significance for the control group after the treatment,however,there was statistical significance after the treatment for the treatment group,the data of the treatment group was better than that before the treatment.But,there was no statistical significance in the data of each group after treatment..2、For the oxyhemoglobin saturation of the ends of the toes and the symptom score,there was statistical significance for all groups after the treatment.The treatment effect of Group 1 was better than the Control group,and the effect of Group 2 was better than that of Group 1.3、For the change of total effect of ulcer wound,after one course of treatment,the number of effective patients in Control group was 20,and the total effective rate reached 67%,the group 1 was 25,83%,the group 2 was 29,97%.4、During the treatment,there was no adverse reaction due to topical application of lotion and ozone gas bath therapy.It could be concluded that this method was safe and reliable.Conclusion: The clinical curative effects of combining the Taohong Siwu Decoction as the external lotion and the sack of ozone to bath feet to treat the diabetic foot superficial wounds were better than the conventional treatments.The method was safe and reliable.It was worthy of clinical popularization and it is worth to further study. |
