| Objective:The difference of 5,10-methylene tetrahydrofolate reductase gene C677 T polymorphism in Uygur and Han patients with acute cerebral infarction in Xinjiang regional. Methods : Selected from the Uygur Department of Neurology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University hospital(50 cases)and Han(111 cases)of patients with acute cerebral infarction, from peripheral blood, extracted DNA,to detect the characteristic of 5,10-methylene tetrahydrofolate reductase gene C677 T single nucleotide amplification by polymerase chain reaction chip hybridization, analysis and comparison of the difference of gene polymorphism in two patients of Uygur and Han nationalities between the acute cerebral infarction. Results : 1)The 5,10-methylene tetrahydrofolate reductase gene C677 T genotype frequency distribution of the patients of Uygur and Han nationalities with acute cerebral infarction in the Xinjiang region:TT [38%(19/50)] [19.8%(22/111)];CT [36.0%(18/50)] [28.83%(32/111)];CC [26%(13/50)][51.37%(57/111)];the frequency distribution of T allele were 56% than 34.23%,Uygur patients with acute cerebral infarction TT genotype and T allele frequency was significantly higher than that in Han patients(P<0.05).2)here was a significant difference between the homocysteine concentration 5,10-methylene tetrahydrofolate reductase gene C677 T polymorphism in patients with acute cerebral infarction of Uygur and Han 3genotypes corresponding to(F=12.30,P=0.00),TT was significantly higher than that of CT type;CT type is higher than that of the CC,homocysteine concentrations in Uygur acute cerebral infarction patients was significantly higher than Han patients(P=0.004).3)There was no significant difference in patients of Uygur and Han nationality with acute cerebral infarction in age, gender, systolic blood pressure, blood glucose, low densitylipoprotein, smoking history, drinking history, body mass index(P>0.05).Conclusion:5,10-methylene tetrahydrofolate reductase C677 T gene T mutation that can cause hyperhomocysteinemia;the frequency of TT genotype and T allele may increase the risk of cerebral infarction, there was a statistically significant difference in risk between Xinjiang Uygur and Han patients with acute cerebral infarction. However, due to the small sample size,we need to expand the sample size. |
