Clinical Analysis Of Long Nasointestinal Tube (LT) With Gastrografin In The Treatment Of Postoperative Adhesive Small Bowel Obstruction

Objective:To investigate the effect of long nasointestinal tube(LT)with gastrografin in the treatment of postoperative adhesive small bowel obstruction.Methods:Retrospective analysis of 206 cases of elderly patients with adhesive small intestinal obstruction admitted in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University from September 2013 to September 2016,divided into 5 groups.Control group A:Traditional nasogastric decompression therapy.Control group B:Traditional nasogastric decompression with gastrografin therapy.Control group C:Only the long nasointestinal tube(LT)therapy.Control group D:Only gastrografin therapy.Experimental group E:The long nasointestinal tube(LT)with gastrografin therapy.The groups which use gastrografin,take orally or immit through nasogastric tube with 60-100ml 76%gastrografin,then clamp the tube for 2 hours and observe the clinlcal symptom,and the situation of severity or remission of obstruction through Abdominal X-ray,spiral computed tomograph.Compare the abdominal pain relief time,the first defecation time,length of stay and effective rate in 5 groups.Results:All patients were required to succeed in putting LT.The group of long nasointestinal tube(LT)with gastrografin(Group E)was superior to other groups on aspects of the abdominal pain relief time,the first defecation time and the length of stay in hospital(P<0.05),and it can improve the patient’s cure rate,effective rate and reduce the opration rate,the difference is statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion:1.The long nasointestinal tube(LT)with gastrografin therapy is effect and safe for the treatment of adhesive intestinal obstruction after abdominal operation,and can reduce the rate of surgery and the recurrence rate of adhesive intestinal obstruction.And become a new method for the treatment of acute intestinal obstruction,and it is worth clinical promotion.2.LT with gastrografin therapy can quickly judge the position and degree of obstruction,relieve clinical symptoms effectively and safely,relieve the pain of patients.and also provides a good opportunity and condition of surgery for the patients which conservative treatment are ineffective.
