Clinical Study On The Effect Of Kidney-nourishing And Phlegm-resolving Method Combined With Metformin In The Treatment Of Obese Patients With Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Objective:Through this clinical research,to observe the clinical efficacy of Kidney-Nourishing And Phlegm-Resolving Method combined with metformin in the treatment of obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)and to explore its mechanism.Methods:Collect Kidney-Deficiency and Phlegm-Dampness type of obese patients with PCOS,randomly divided into two groups,observation group 20 cases,control group 20 cases,respectively,to Kidney-Nourishing and Phlegm-Resolving combined with metformin and metformin alone,two groups were treated for 3 months.Before and after treatment,valuate the TCM syndrome score,body mass index(BMI),waist hip ratio(WHR),Sex hormone indicators(LH、FSH、T、LH/FSH),sex hormone binding globulin(SHBG),fasting blood glucose(FPG),empty fasting insulin levels(FINS),basal body temperature(BBT)in the two groups respectively,compare the changes in the indicators of the two groups before and after treatment,then assess differences of curative effects in two groupsResults:The total effective rate of the observation group(95%)was Significantly higher than that of the control group(70%).There was significant difference in clinical efficacy(P<0.05).The observation group can significantly improve the menstrual cycle,There was a significant difference(P=0.048<0.05).The improvement of TCM symptoms was significantly better than that of the control group,The recovery rate of the observation group was 70%,The effective rate was 90%;The recovery rate of the control group was 35%,The effective rate was 65%.Comparison of symptom scores between groups after treatment,There was a significant difference(P<0.05).The effect of reducing BMI、WHR in the observation group was stronger than that in the control group,there was a significant difference(P=0.004<0.05).After treatment,the LH,T and LH/FSH in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,the level of SHBG was significantly higher than that of control group,there was significant difference between the two groups(P=0.033,0.025,0.001,0.015<0.05).The observation group can effectively improve the level of FPG,FINS and HOMA-IR,compared with the control group,there was no significant difference in improving the level of FPG(P=0.704>0.05);In the reduction of FINS,HOMA-IR level,the difference was statistically significant(P was 0.045,0.049 were<0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups in the recovery of BBT dual phase(P<0.05);The pregnancy rate of the observation group(16.67%)was higher than that of the control group(9.09%).Conclusion:The treatment of Kidney-Nourishing And Phlegm-Resolving Method combined with metformin to cure the obese patients with PCOS can significantly improve the situation of TCM syndrome,lose weight,significantly decreased the level of LH、T、LH/FSH、FINS,elevated the level of SHBG,improve endocrine and glucose metabolism in patients,thus regulating the menstrual cycle and improve clinical symptoms,the clinical efficacy was better than that of single metformin treatment group.The results showed that the treatment of Kidney-Nourishing And Phlegm-Resolving Method combined with metformin can improve the clinical efficacy of metformin in the treatment of obese PCOS,there have no obvious adverse reactions,it was safe and effective in clinical use.
