Objective: To explore the curative effect and safety of columnar ligation of rectal mucosa,rectal interanal space injection combined with anal constriction for patients with severe rectal prolapse.Methods: From March 2014 to March 2016,50 patients with moderate or severe rectal prolapse underwent surgery in the anorectal center of our hospital were include for this study.Patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,25 patients in each group,in which the treatment group was treated with triple therapy,while the control group was treated with anal constriction surgery combined with rectal peripheral sclerosing agent injection.The curative effect were evaluated according to the number of cured cases,the improvement of defecation duration and defecation frequency,and safety were evaluated by length of hospital stay and recurrence of rectal prolapse in the follow-up period.Results: The number of cured cases in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P <0.05).There were no significant differences in the duration of defecation and the frequency of defecation between the two groups before operation.The duration of defecation in the two groups was significantly shortened(P <0.05).The improvement range of the treatment group was greater than that of the control group(P <0.05).The frequency of defecation in the treatment group was significantly increased(P <0.05),while the frequency of defecation in the control group was not significant(P> 0.05).The probability of recurrence of rectal prolapse in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the treatment group also have better improvement of the symptoms of anus bulge than the control group.The number of rectal prolapse was significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P <0.05)during the follow-up period.Conclusion: Compared with the conventional operation,the triple therapy of anal rectum is effective and safe in the treatment of severe rectal prolapse.It is worthy to be applied in clinical practice... |
