Purpose:To evaluate short-term clinical influence of Jin’s eye-three needle combining with auricular point in treating on Juvenile myopia. Detecting the clinical effect, safety and compliance to compare the difference between Jin’s eye-three needle combining with auricular point treatment and outer orbit acupoints combining with auricular point treatment. Methods:The study used completely random distribution of the envelope method. According to trial plan,72 cases of patients were randomly divided into two groups, trial group (Jin’s eye-three needle combining with auricular point treatment group) 36 cases and control group (outer orbit acupoints combining with auricular point treatment group) 36 cases. Both groups were treated bilateral acupoints,5 times for a course of treatment, two days of rest between 2 courses, treat 2 courses in total. Trial group use the point Eye Ⅰ, Eye Ⅱ, Eye Ⅲ combining with auricular point CO12, LO5. Control group use the point BL2, GB1, ST2 combining with auricular point CO12, LO5. Observing visual acuity before and after 1 time, after 5 times, after 10 times treatment. Observing ocular symptoms (unabiding vision, dryness, foreign body sensation, soreness, phengophobia and tearing), total ocular symptoms score before and after 5 times, after 10 times treatment. Analyzing safety and compliance of both therapies. Compare clinical effects.Result:1. Trial program were included 72 cases,35 patients in the trial group and 37 cases in the control group. The trial group excluded/depigmentation 5 cases, the control group reject/drop out in 6 cases.61 cases completed the trial program, in which the test group 30 patients (59 eyes) and the control group 31 patients (62 eyes).2. Gender and age of the two groups were compared, P> 0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. Before treatment, visual acuity, ocular symptoms, total ocular symptoms score were compared, P> 0.05, the difference is not statistically significant. 3. After the treatment is completed. Intra-group comparison:visual acuity before and after 1 time, after 5 times, after 10 times treatment, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant. Ocular symptoms and total ocular symptoms score before and after 5 times, after 10 times treatment, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant. 4. After the treatment is completed. Intergroup comparison:after 1 time, after 5 times, after 10 times treatment, P> 0.05, visual acuity the difference was not statistically significant between two groups. After 5 times, after 10 times treatment the score of unabiding vision, dryness, soreness, phengophobia and tearing symptoms, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant between two groups, the trial group is better than the control group. After 5 times, after 10 times treatment the score of foreign body sensation symptom, P> 0.05, the difference is not statistically significant. After 5 times, after 10 times treatment the total ocular symptoms score, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant between two groups, the trial group is better and effect faster than the control group5. Total efficacy evaluation:in the trial group,4 cases recovered,34 cases had effect,21 cases had no effect, the total efficiency is 64.41%. In the control group,5 cases recovered,34 cases had effect,23 cases had no effect, the total efficiency is 62.90%.Conclusion:Both Jin’s eye-three needle combining with auricular point treatment group and outer orbit acupoints combining with auricular point treatment group had a good effect in the short-term clinical influence on juvenile myopia. Jin’s eye-three needle combining with auricular point treatment group was better than outer orbit acupoints combining with auricular point treatment group. Two groups had equivalent effects on visual acuity. Two groups had equivalent effects on foreign body sensation symptom. Jin’s eye-three needle combining with auricular point treatment group effect better and faster than outer orbit acupoints combining with auricular point treatment group on unabiding vision, dryness, soreness, phengophobia, tearing symptoms and the total ocular symptoms score. Both Jin’s eye-three needle combining with auricular point treatment group and outer orbit acupoints combining with auricular point treatment group had good safety and compliance. Acupuncature is a good auxiliary method on improving visual function, it may suspend myopia progress, it may helpful in prevention and recovery of myopia and in which the Jin’s eye-three needle combining with auricular point treatment effect faster. |
