Analysis Of The Effect Of Short-term Wear Of Night-wear Orthokeratology On Juvenile Myopia And Its Influence On Tears

Objective: To analyze the effect of short-term wearing night-wearing keratoplasty lenses on myopia and tear in adolescents.Methods: From August to December 2018,60 cases(120 eyes)of adolescent myopia treated with keratoplasty were divided into low myopia group and moderate myopia group according to the degree of myopia.The patients were divided into two groups according to age: 8-12 years old(72 eyes)and 12-17 years old(48 eyes).Group A(64 eyes)and group B(56 eyes)with high curvature were worn overnight for 8 to 10 hours.The refractive index,corneal mean curvature,tear film rupture time,tear secretion,corneal curvature,central corneal thickness,axial length,corneal endothelial cells and anterior cornea were observed at 1 day,1 week and 1,3 months after wearing.Room depth changes.Results: The refractive index and corneal mean curvature of all patients were significantly lower than before wearing glasses at all follow-up points(P < 0.05);tear film rupture time was significantly shorter than before wearing glasses at all time points(P < 0.05);there was no significant difference in tear base secretion between before and after wearing glasses(P > 0.05).Horizontal,vertical and average corneal curvature did not change significantly before and after wearing keratoplastics(P > 0.05);the longer the wearing of keratoplastics,the smaller the central corneal thickness,and the lower the central corneal thickness 6 months after wearing keratoplastics(P < 0.05);and the lower the central corneal thickness after wearing keratoplastics(P < 0.05).There was no significant change in the number of corneal endothelial cells before and after wearing plastic lenses(P > 0.05);with the prolongation of the wearing time of plastic lenses,the axial length increased gradually;but with the prolongation of the wearing time of plastic lenses,the depth of anterior chamber decreased gradually,but the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05);Conclusion: Short-term matching had no significant difference(P > 0.05).Night wearing keratoplasty lenses have no significant effect on the tear base secretion of juvenile myopia patients,but can reduce refractive index,mean corneal curvature and tear film stability,improve visual quality.
