| Object : To study the abnormal metabolism and gender impact on the composition of the urinary calculi, and further evaluated the risk factors of calculi formation to provide the reference for treatment and prevention. Methods: Collected the stones of 152 patients who live a long time in Ningde area which obtained by extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy or surgery in Mindong hospital affiliated to Fujian medical university, including 24 cases of kidney stones, 80 cases of ureteral calculi, 41 cases of bladder stones, 7 cases of urethral calculi, the ratio was about 3.4:11.4:5.9:1. And the ratio of man and female was 3.1:1. Determined the oxalic acid salt, uric acid, uric acid salt, carbonate, ammonium phosphate, cystine, magnesium, calcium, and other major components of stones by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Furthermore, we analyzed the results of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus of patients’ blood biochemical and 24-hour urine biochemical. Results: The results showed that there were 109 cases containing calcium oxalate(72.3%), 21 cases containing uric acid and uric acid calculi(18.4%), 19 cases of infectious stones(12.5%), and 3 cases containing phosphates(2.0%). In all the cases, there were 58 cases containing only one composition, accounting for 38.2%. Then two ingredients were 65(42.8%), and three components were 67( 44.0%). The 24-hour urine results showed that 105 cases existed abnormal metabolism, including 15 cases of hypercalciuria(14.3%), 33 cases of Hypeluricemia urine(31.4%), 26 cases of hyperoxaluria(24.8%), 31 cases of hyperphosphate urine(29.5%), 80 cases of Hypocitraturia(76.2%), 48 cases of hypomagnesium urine(45.7%), 46 cases of oliguria(43.8%). The number of stones containing oxalic acid salt composition was notably greater in man than female, p < 0.05.Conclusion: Oxalic acid salt composition is the main components of the urinary calculi in this region. The abnormal metabolism significantly influence the calculi formation.Otherwise, it’s helpful to understand the causes of calculi formation through evaluation the calculi composition analysis and metabolism, and provide the reference for treatment and prevention. |
