Objective: Use the method of epidemiology, to research and analyse the risk factors and syndromes of elder antibiotic associated diarrhea patients, to explore pathogenesis provide guidance for the treatment and diagnosis of elder antibiotic-associated diarrhea.Methods:1.Choose 80 cases of patient with antibiotic-associated diarrhea from cases of patients 2014 October to 2015 December in our hospital into standard, research and analysis the clinical date. The content includes the demographic characteristic underlying diseases and patients, time, using of antibiotics, the frequency of diarrhea, characters and other related symptoms and signs, tongue and pulse condition and auxiliary examination. EXCEL2003 is used for data management, using SPSS21.0 statistical forχ2 test and rank test.Results:1.The incidence of antibiotic-associated diarrhea is not associated with gender.2.Most elderly patients of antibiotic associated diarrhea is at the age of 70-79, accounted for 51.2%.3.83.75% of the elder antibiotic-associated diarrhea patients had underlying diseases, cardiovascular disease(38.98%)、 respiratory disease(22.03%)、diabetes(17.8%)are the top three disease.4.The reason why elder antibiotic-associated diarrhea patients use antibiotics is respiratory infections(53.75%)、urinary tract infection(12%) and Prevention(13.75%).5. Antibiotics which elder antibiotic-associated diarrhea patients use, are the three generation cephalosporins(22.96%),penbritin(19.26%), carbapenem(14.81%).6.When antibiotics are used for more than 14 days, the incidence of diarrhea is obviously increased.7.Various types of antibiotic associated diarrhea, Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney and spleen and stomach deficiency accounted for 56.25% and 23.75%.Conclusion:The risk factors of elder antibiotic associated-diarrhea are broad-spectrum antibiotics, underlying diseases, antibiotic use for a long time etc. elder antibiotic-associated diarrhea with cold dampness spleen syndrome, damp heat syndrome, spleen stomach deficiency, spleen kidney yang deficiency syndrome four types.
