Study On Nursing Humanistic Quality Cultivation Based On Multicultural Perspective

Objective: With the advent of the era of globalization,there is multicultural exchange and collision.Nursing work carry out multicultural nursing has become the need of the period in order to adapt to the change of today's society and advocate of the high quality nursing service and hospital.By the survey,this study lets us understand cognition and demand of youth nurses and nursing interns in Wuhan city for the multicultural nursing knowledge,as well as patients demands on multicultural nursing needs and investigation of satisfaction,so multicultural nursing is actively promoted to be carried out to reach high quality nursing service,but also to enhance the humanistic quality of nurses and students,as well as to provide the basis for adaption to social development needs of the new education plan.Methods: With the literature data combined with the current social and nursing work situation,the questionnaires are designed,and respectively investigations for both nurses and patients of multi-cultural situation are carried.210 young nurses working in diff-erent medical departments from six general hospitals were investi-gated by using self-designed questionnaires on cognition of multic-ulturalism nursing and handy sampling.The stochastic method is used to extract 210 young nurses from different departments of six general hospitals in Wuhan city and 220 nursing interns from ten different nursing colleges in order to investigate the multicul-tural nursing needs and satisfaction.Results:Patients want to carry out multicultural nursing in order to give personalized care very much.Dissatisfaction in the follow-ing areas are mainly in the following areas: 57.5% of patients are not satisfied with the hospital diversified diets;56% hope to be provided with personalized care;33% of them are not satisfied with the environment;29.5% are not satisfied with the language exchange of the nursing staff;25.5% are not satisfied with the respect for religious beliefs;24% are not satisfied with the poor service atti-tude.It is acceptable that multicultural nursing knowledge of young nurses in Wuhan General Hospitals is well,but there is a gap with the high quality nursing requirements.There are differences in high quality nursing requirements and no statistical significance in general cognition levels of multiculturalism nursing between the nurses with bachelor degree and college degree(P>0.05).All of the aspects of cognition levels of multiculturalism nursing showing no statistical significance except the values and cultural background(P<0.05);the general and each aspect of cognition levels of mult-iculturalism nursing between the senior nurses and the supervisor nurses showing no statistical significance(P>0.05).38.57% of the nursing staff receive a multicultural training during the work;16.67% of the nursing staff receive by self-study or other means;only 30% of young people obtain multicultural knowledge in school.100% of respondents hope to strengthen the multicultural education in school,90.48% of them have the training needs of the service system.The attainment rate of nursing students' multicultural nu-rsing knowledge was significantly lower than that of the nurses.The dimensions of nursing students were basically the same as that of nursing staff,but the knowledge of the nursing students' multicu-ltural nursing knowledge was slightly better than that of undergr-aduate nursing students,though there is no statistical signific-ance(P> 0.05).Conclusion: Since the development of good quality nursing service in Wuhan,the relationship between nurses and patients has been greatly improved,but there are still some disappointments in sati-sfying the needs of patients,such as nursing staff and nursing students failed to achieve the desired results,and the practical multicultural nursing should be improved.Nursing staff are eager to have the opportunity to receive further education to improve themselves with professional satisfaction.In the multicultural nu-rsing education,there is a serious problem so that we must carry out scientific research and adjust the personnel training plan.In order to meet the needs of patients with diversified medical servi-ces to meet the needs of high quality nursing,we must establish the mechanism of school and hospital combined training,and form the pattern of lifelong education,which is very important for promoting the sustainable development of nursing.
