| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Qingre Huayu Prescription in the treatment of ischemic stroke and the influence of interleukin IL-1 beta and Tumor necrosis factor alpha,which providing scientific bases for clinic application and therapeutic mechanism.Methods:80 cases of ischemic stroke patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to the diagnostic criteria of the International Society for ischemic stroke.Then control group was given regular therapy,while treament group was given regular therapy and Qingre Huayu Prescription.After the treatment of 28 days,we observed the changes of NIHSS(The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale),FMA(Fugl-Meye),QLI(Quality of Life Index)and SDS(TCM syndromescore).At the same time,the concentrations of blood IL-1βand TNF-a were measured in patients before and after therapy by means of ELISA method and chemiluminescent immunoblotting technique,respectly.Results:(1)Clinical effect:The statistic analysis of cognitive evaluation by the NIHSS revealed that the present efficiency was 60%and the total effective rate was 94.29%in the treatment group of 35 cases,while the present efficiency was 42.11%,and the total effective rate was 73.68%in the control group of 38 cases.There was significant difference between them(P<0.05),which declared that the treatment group was superior to the control group.(2)NIHSS:NIHSS scores were significantly decreased after treatment.There was significant difference(P<0.05)between pretherapy and post-treatment,which revealed that Qingre Huayu Prescription could improve the nerval function.(3)FMA:The scores of Fugl-Meye significantly improved after treatment.There was significant difference(P<0.05)between pretherapy and post-treatment,and the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).(4)QLI:After treatment,the Quality of Life Index scores significantly increased in both groups(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to that in the control group(P<0.05).(5)Score of TCM symptoms:After treatment,the improvement of symptoms in treatment group was significantly better than that in control group(P<0.05),which showed that Qingre Huayu Prescription had good effect in improving the symptom of acute ischemic stroke with wind-phlegm and blood stasis in collaterals.(6)IL-1β:After treatment,the concentrations of blood IL-1βsignifi-cantly decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and the treatment group was su-perior to that in the control group(P<0.05).(7)TNF-a:After treatment,the concentrations of blood TNF-a significan-tly decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and the treatment group was suprior to that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:This study showed that Qingre Huayu Prescription has curative effect in the treament of acute ischemic stroke through downregulating the expression of IL-1βand TNF-a. |
