| Objective: 1.To translate and revise “The Preparatory Grief in Advanced Cancer patients(PGAC)” and “The Anticipatory Grief Scale(AGS)”,making it suitable to use under the background of Chinese culture,as the assessment tools of the advanced cancer patients' and their families' grief.2.To evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of PGAC scale and AGS scale of patients with advanced cancer and their families.3.Using Chinese PGAC scale and AGS scale to investigate the response of patients with advanced cancer and their families,and discuss the related factors that affect the grief reaction.Methods : 1.Using the Brislin translation method to translate English version of PGAC scale and AGS scale,including translation,cultural adjustment and presurvey,to form the Chinese version of PGAC Scale and AGS Scale.2.Using purposive sampling method,selecting 400 advanced cancer patients and their families from First Affiliated Hospital of Sichuan Medical University,Sichuan Medical College Affiliated Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in oncology,Cancer Hospital of Sichuan Province hospital during July of 2015 to September of 2015 3.Through the use of items distribution of inspection method,variation coefficient method,determination of value CR and correlation coefficient of item and total score of PGAC scale and AGS of the Chinese version.The content validity,structure validity,the school the validityand discriminant validity to evaluate the validity of the scale,using Cronbach 's a coefficient,split half coefficient to test the reliability of the scale.4.Using Single factor variance analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and stepwise multiple linear regression analysis to discuses the related factors influencing the grief reaction of cancer patients and their families.Results: 1 Chinese version of the PGAC scale:(1)By Brislin translation mode and the analysis and selection of Chinese version of PGAC scale,finally determine that the Chinese version of PGAC scale is composed of 26 items,by deleting the items whose correlation coefficient is less than 0.3,including item 16 and 18,item,item 21 and 28 item 22;(2)Validity test:(1)content validity: 10 experts grade the correlation degree between items of Chinese version of the PGAC scale and the study,the content validity index CVI of PGAC was calculated0.916.(2)construct validity:Through orthogonal rotation to exploratory factor analysis,7 common factors were extracted,the cumulative contribution rate was 62.864%,the factor load was in 0.411~0.750.Through the correlation analysis,the correlation coefficient between each item of Chinese version PGAC scale and factor was found between 0.465 ~ 0.907,the factor and the total scale of the correlation coefficient between the 0.017~0.930(except the factor7 and total phase relationship value is 0.017(P > 0.05),the rest of the correlation coefficients are statistically significant(P < 0.01)),The correlation coefficient between each factor was 0.017~0.673(except the factor7 and factor4 whose correlation coefficient was 0.017(P > 0.05),factor5 and factor 6 phaserelationship value was 0.096(P > 0.05),the rest of the related coefficients are statistically significant(P < 0.01)).(3)the school validity: Pearson correlation coefficient was 0.132(P < 0.05)between Chinese PGAC scale scores and HADS scale total score,and Pearson correlation coefficients were 0.115(P<0.05)and 0.120(P < 0.05)between each dimension of HADS scale.(3)Reliability test: Chinese PGAC scale and Cronbach 's a coefficient is 0.919,each factor of Cronbach' s a coefficient was between 0.533 ~ 0.926,the lowest Cronbach's alpha coefficient was factor 7,and it below 0.60;the split half reliability of Chinese version of PGAC was 0.842,the split half reliability of each factor was between 0.462~0.940,factor 7 has the lowest split-half reliability.(4)A survey of 388 patients with advanced cancer by the Chinese version of PGAC scale: 388 Cases of advanced cancer patients with a minimum of 0 points,the highest score of 84 points,an average of 40.31±17.937,basically similar with the foreign research.Among them the highest score of five items distribution: entry 16,entry 28,entry 18,entry 21,entry 22,the lowest score of the five entries are: entry 27,10,1,29,entry 12.In Age,educational level,family economic level,character,the time of informing the disease,disease diagnosis,etc.,patients with advanced cancer PGAC scale scores have significant difference(P <0.05),the PGAC score and character is positively correlated,age,time of diagnosis is negative correlated,and the correlation coefficient has statistical significance(P <0.05).2.Chinese version of the AGS scale:(1)By Brislin translation mode and the analysis and selectionof the items of Chinese version of the AGS scale,Chinese AGS scale was finally determined by 27 items,seven dimensions.(2)Validity test:(1)content validity: 10 experts grade the correlation degree between items of the Chinese version of the AGS scale content and research content,the content validity index CVI of AGS was calculated 0.963.(2)construct validity: Through orthogonal rotation to exploratory factor analysis,7 common factors were extracted,with the cumulative contribution rate of 67.256%,the factor load factor was between 0.421~0.900.Through the correlation analysis,correlation coefficient between each item and factor of Chinese version AGS scale was found between 0.619 ~ 0.856,the correlation coefficient of the factor and the total scale was found between the 0.475~0.828,the correlation coefficient between each factor was 0.005~0.710(except the factor 2 between factor 4,the factor 3 between factor 4,the factor 3 between factor 5,the factor 3 between factor 7 the correlation coefficient has no statistical significance(P > 0.05),the rest of the related coefficients are statistically significant(P < 0.01)).(3)Reliability test: Cronbach 's a coefficient of Chinese AGS scale is 0.896,Cronbach' s a coefficient of each factor was between 0.788~0.896;the split half reliability was 0.872,the split half reliability of each factor was between0.740~0.870.(4)A survey of 391 patients families with advanced cancer by the Chinese version of AGS scale: 391 Cases of advanced cancer patients families with a minimum of 41 points,the highest score of 114 points,an average of79.39±14.38.Among them the highest score of five items distribution: entry 1,entry 2,entry 3,entry9,entry 7,the lowest score of the five entries are: entry 18,entry 17,entry 24,entry 25,and entry 27.families with advanced cancer AGS scale scores have significant difference(P <0.05)in Age,gender,educational level,occupation,the relationship between patients,Reason Participation care,disease diagnosis,patients with loss of immediate family members,awareness of disease treatment,.Through multiple stepwise linear regression analysis,the linear correlation coefficient was found 0.439 between the four factors of the "the relationship between patients","the awareness of disease treatment","gender","Reason Participation care"and the total score of AGS scale,which can explain the 19.2% of the variation of Chinese AGS scale score.Conclusion: 1.Chinese version of PGAC Scale contains a total of 26 items after the localization.The reliability and validity test show that the Scale basically reached the requirement of psychological measurement and has good reliability and validity,and is suitable for Chinese cultural background for patients with advanced cancer Preparatory Grief assessment.the difference of the total score of Chinese PGAC scale of patients with advanced cancer with different demographic characteristics(such as age,education,family economic level,character,informed the time of disease diagnosis,disease diagnosis),is statistically significant.the PGAC score and character is positively correlated,age,time of diagnosis is negative correlation,and the correlation coefficient has statistical significance.2.After the localization research of Chinese AGS scale,there are 27 items,seven dimensions,namely "sad," "loss of feeling," "angry,""irritability," "guilt," "anxiety",“the ability to complete the task".Test shows that the reliability and validity of meet the requirements of basic psychometrics,the scale has good reliability and validity,and is suitable for evaluating the feeling of anticipatory grief of advanced cancer patients' families under the background of Chinese culture.the Chinese AGS scale score difference is statistically significant of family members' of patients with advanced cancer with different demographic characteristics(such as Age,gender,educational level,occupation,the relationship between patients,Reason Participation care,disease diagnosis,patients with loss of immediate family members,awareness of disease treatment).The
