With the development of technology,the ship has been tending to large-size,automation and intelligence,so the low voltage power system of the ship has not satisfied the needs of the development of the large-size ships.Therefore,the high voltage power systems are adopted widely and become the major development direction.The paper made a study of the characteristics of the high voltage power system and its modeling and simulation.I hope that it is a significant job for mathematical modeling of the high voltage power system of the ships and the developing of simulators.Firstly,in this thesis,the characteristics of ship high voltage power system was introduc-ed.The thesis analyzed the neutral grounding problem of the ship's high-voltage power syste-m the working mechanism of the differential protection in the real ship and the pre-magnetizi-ng principle of the high-voltage transformer.This thesis briefly introduced the choice of high voltage circuit breaker and the "five protection" measures of ship high voltage switchboard.Then,a complete mathematical model of ship's high-voltage power system was established,including the ship diesel engine,ship high-voltage synchronous generator,excitation controller and load mathematical model,etc.On the basis of the whole model,the fuzzy control and excitation control were combined to improve the dynamic performance of the power system.The mathematical model of current stabilization device was established to realize the automatic distribution of reactive power among generators which run in parallel.Later,the Matlab/simulink software was used to establish mathematical model and simulation,under sudden reduce and heavy load conditions,obtained the data of ship high voltage power system,including the synchronous generator terminal voltage and terminal current,and compared with testing result data,verified the correctness of the model.Finally,the ship high voltage power system operational interface was designed through the Visual C++,which was communicated with the simulation model that was established of the SUPERS IMS simulation platform,the DMS2016 of ship high voltage power system simulator was developed.This simulator has the simulation operating functions of the ship high voltage power system.Now the simulator has been applied to the crew training and undergraduate teaching.
