With the application of the high-voltage electric power system in the ship industry,STCW78/10amendment requires the personnel have a deep understanding of the structure andtheory of the ship high-voltage electric system, it also requires the personnel grasp the safeoperation and management of ship high-voltage electric system.In this regard, it will be morerelevant to develop a comprehensive software system to support and control ship high-voltagepower station simulator. It will raise the effect of training,reduce the risk of training while savingthe training cost.The article selects Haiwell Happy PLC programme software, Haiwell View design softwareof touch screen and PIMS configuration software as development environment for softwaresystem of ship high-voltage power station simulator. The application of PLC control technology,touch-screen monitor technology and configuration technology on ship high-voltage powerstation Simulator achieved joint control to the power station through the communication. Systemapplies Haiwell Happy programming the main program and subroutine and it realize the sitecontrol of the logical of operation of power station. Design of touch screen using the HaiwellView,bringing about the real-time monitoring to the grid parameters, circuit statues andharmonics status during the operation of the high-voltage power station. Combining with thePIMS configuration function,taking the ship high-voltage power station stimulator as asimulation object for interface design.Implement the simulator’s simulation operation on PCthrough the communication with Haiwell PLC. On this basis, this article also designs securitytraining system in ship high-voltage power station and failure setting training system. Securitytraining system is based on PIMS and Haiwell PLC platform, breaking the concept of traditionalfive-prevention active mechanical interlock operation. It makes the training more flexible,deepening the personnel’s understanding to the five protection function of high-voltage powersystem and the high power load. Failure setting training system combines PIMS、Haiwell PLCand Haiwell touch screen. The system uses PIMS to design type of failure and fault triggingbuttons in the instructor’s desk. The fault alarm is showed on the board of the power stationthrough Haiwell PLC and Haiwell touch screen. It will cultivate the students’ psychologicalquality and response capacity through judging and excluding faults.The system has good human-computer interaction interface. It avoids touching the physical panel frequently leading to friction damage. It has a good stability, low failure rate, easy toupdate and secondary development. It deserves an excellent value of application and market.
