The Design Analysis Of Moire Pattern On The Architectural Skin

The paper investigates into the mainstream literature interest in non-linear design that features dynamic,diverse and holistic elements.Based on the theories on mire patterns which are famously versatile and non-linear and the factual cases of moire pattern application,the paper goes in-depth to the analysis of architectural inspirations from moire patterns that is seen in buildings' envelopes.This paper will review and then study the design methodology of building envelopes in moire patterns,and proceed to discuss successful cases of such kind.The author will also lay out her nature-conscious design concepts,plans,and drawings of Liao Ning Xiuyan Cultural Museum,of which the envelopes are designed in moire patterns.Design plan II and drawing II are for San Feng Tower,which is another example of smoothly integrating the building and the surrounding environment.Envelopes designed in moire patterns employ layer materials to give the building a richness in beauty,creating a harmonious integration of Mother Nature,emotions and the surrounding environment.
