With the comprehensive construction of a well-off society and the strategic needs of ecological civilization construction,the regions with fragile ecological environment and poverty economy have recently become a focus of academia and government.The mainly mode of production of Yanchi county is stockbreeding,with the further implementation of ecological compensation project,the policy has a profound effect on rural-households' production,life and human system.Ecological compensation as a policy that can protect the ecology and develop the economy,the implementation of farmers have a far-reaching influence on the projects sustainability.Based on the questionnaire data and the segmentation scheme of the major function in Ningxia restricted development ecology areas,analysis the responses of the farmers to ecological compensation by using binary logistic model,synthetically index method and further measures on improving the ecological compensation way are put forward.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Analysis on farmers' willingness to participate in ecological compensation.?Overall,farmers'willingness to participate in ecological compensation is high,about 73.12%of them are willing to continue to participate in this project.?There is a significant spatial difference in the willingness of farmers to participate in different types of areas.The farmers in strong-restrictive ecological areas are most willing to take part in the project.But in the prohibited areas,a few of farmers are willing to choose.?What affect farmers' willingness most in the area are family's character,yearly income,livelihood capital and the level of farmers' satisfaction to the current policy.(2)Analysis on the farmers' adaptation to participate in ecological compensation.?From the adaptive capacity,the farmers in medium-restrictive ecological areas have the highest adaptability,followed by the weak-restrictive ecological areas and prohibited areas,the farmers in strong restrictive ecological areas have the least adaptation.?Generally speaking,there were significant differences between in each of the six dimensions,material possession,financial resources and labor resources were more enrich.?Due to different location,terrain,production,life-styles,different types of areas,have different obstacles factors.The obstacles factors of the weak-restrictive ecological areas are per capita cultivated area,per capita forest grassland and the trust of people around them;The obstacles factors of the medium-restrictive ecological areas are per capita cultivated area,the amount of livestock stock and the number of training sessions.The obstacles factors of the strong-restrictive ecological areas are per capita forest grassland,the number of household production equipment and the number of durable consumer goods;The obstacles factors of the prohibited areas are the education level,the number of family labor and the cost of traffic and communication.(3)Select the ecological compensation mode.?The choice of regional ecological compensation should take into account the natural,economic and social development,the willingness of farmers to participate in ecological compensation and to enhance the farmers' ability of adaptability as the important purpose of compensation.?The typical pattern in the prohibited areas should take ecological restoration,environmental protection as a key development direction and support the physical,technology and industry compensation;The typical pattern in the strong-restrictive ecological areas are ecomigration and industry compensation;The typical pattern in the medium-restrictive ecological areas should highlight the technical training,policy support,industrial compensation;In the weak-restrictive ecological areas should make full use of the local location conditions,resource conditions and market conditions and focus on technical training,policy support,industry compensation.
