Groundwater recharge sources in the southeastern of Badan Jaran desert has been the focus of attention at home and abroad. Based on the different evidence, different scholars put forward different views, but are lack of localization observation experiment. Using 10 underground water level change sequences of Badan Jaran desert, the temporal and spatial variation characters of groundwater level were analysed, the flow direction of groundwater was determined, and the sources of groundwater recharge was discussed.Firstly, the data quality correction was done, removing observation data errors caused by system and human factors, then the temporal and spatial change character was analysed. Through the wavelet analysis, the series located in the southeast of the study area, such as Badan,Bauer,Sum Barun Jaran,Noel, are significant in the change of 300-350 days scale, and the series located in the west of the study area such as ZhaoreTu,CherGele,WuertaBulage are significant in the change of 300-350 days scale and 90-150 days scale. By calculation of fractal dimension, We found, the series located in the west of the study area fractal dimension is higher than 6 sequences of southeast. Through the principal component analysis and cluster analysis, can put 10 groundwater sequence into two big classes, the Southeast's sequences as a class, the remaining 4 is another, consistent with the conclusion that wavelet analysis, the two kinds of different types may be different groundwater recharge. On the basis of the above study, the water level of sequence is simulated using time series method, set up a trend, periodic, random combination model. Through the model test, it proves that this model has better simulation effect. The curve fitting analysis, the underground water level series curves have significant phase difference, can be used to infer the groundwater flow direction and speed. To establish the phase variation of groundwater spatial difference maps using the Krikin interpolation method, found that there are two:groundwater flow direction in the southeast region, groundwater flow from the southeast to the northwest, water wave speed for 1km/ days; in the western region, the groundwater flows from west to East, water wave speed 0.5km/days. We speculate Badan Jaran desert in southeastern groundwater recharge may have two sources of replenishment.
