The chemical characeristics of groudwater will change accordingly during migration, such asthe hydrochemical type will vary from HCO3type to Cl type, and the water-rock interaction andchemical parameters even more tend to be stable. Based on such regulations, the research ofchemical characteristics in groundwater were crarried out in this paper to speculate the source ofwater. To take data for example, hydrochemical types of groundwater in the middle of the HeiheRiver are almost HCO3type or HCO3-SO4type, but it change into HCO3-Cl type gradually inMaoRiLiTe and GeLiTu regions. Furthmore, the TDS value and δ18O value also increasedgradually. This phenomenons could also be obeserved near the YaBuLai Mountain and Geopark toNaoGunNuoEr region. Thus it is speculated that there are three different supply channels in theBadain Jaran Desert. Based on the above qualitative analysis, the isotope hydrograph separationand the water balance of lake calculations were put into practice in the SuMuJiLin region.Theresults show that the groundwater involve a little local precipitation and the effective groundwaterrecharge of SuMuJiLin lake in April2010.
