Research Of The Evaluation Of The New Urbanization Development Level In Jiangsu Province

Since entering the new century, China’s urbanization process has been accelerated, but at the same time, many problems have hindered the sustainable development of China’s economy and society to a certain extent. In this case, in response to the new national strategy, and actively explore new urbanization theory and practice, it is even more significant. New urbanization is the inevitable choice under the guidance of China’s Scientific Outlook on Development, is the inevitable requirement of economic and social transformation, to further promote the process of urbanization of Jiangsu Province, is essential. And objectively and reasonably estimate and evaluate the development level of new urbanization in Jiangsu province is the foundation and guarantee of the development strategy.In this paper, the new development of urbanization in Jiangsu Province as the research object, defining the concept of the new urbanization, new urbanization elaborated the definition, characteristics, and the traditional urbanization difference, influence factors and related theory; then, to discuss the current situation of the development of new urbanization in Jiangsu province from economic development, development and protection Jiangsu Province, urbanization, social progress, science and education, the ecological environment; on this basis, according to the comprehensive evaluation index system selection principle and the effect of the new urbanization factors and connotation of constructing the new urbanization level comprehensive evaluation index system, using the improved entropy method, quantitative analysis of the new urbanization of Jiangsu province from the vertical and two horizontal angle, analysis and evaluation of new urbanization in Jiangsu Province in the development of the problem; finally, according to the existing analysis results. The countermeasures and suggestions to improve the development level of the new urbanization in Jiangsu province.The results of the study showed that Jiangsu Province 8 years new towns of the overall level of development showed a rising trend, the four systems are showing a different rate of growth; in five provinces, although Jiangsu Province new urbanization in the overall development of ranked first, there is a part of the system development is still insufficient, science, education, culture and hygiene and ecological environment index of these two systems behind in other provinces, Jiangsu Province in these two aspects to increase investment and attention. According to the problems existing in the process of the development of new towns in Jiangsu Province, put forward to accelerate the new urbanization development in Jiangsu Province recommendations: adhere to the human centered; optimize the industrial structure; improve the quality of life; strengthening science and technology, education, culture and hygiene construction; protection of the ecological environment in urban areas; scientific planning of urban distribution.
