The increasing concentration of greenhouse gases in atmospheric has become an important cause of global climate change. While agriculture is one of the country’s major sources of greenhouse gas emissions, but also is a huge carbon sink system. Agricultural land release large amounts of greenhouse gases, land use change increase greenhouse gases; it is the second largest source of greenhouse gases. But good agricultural ecological environment system can offset part of the greenhouse gases, agricultural photosynthesis can fix a lot of carbon dioxide; arable land itself is a huge carbon reservoir can store of organic carbon.Agricultural production process will affect the environment, such as clean air, water purification and so on. Therefore, the development of agricultural low-carbon economy has great potential, it is important to build an ecological civilizationThere are many researches on low-carbon agricultural, for example its models, basic theories, concepts, policy or a city’s or a country’s low-carbon agriculture. This article is about the research on Fujian low-carbon agriculture. The article discuss the advantages, disadvantages and achievements of the development of low-carbon agriculture.Based on these, this article emphasis on the agriculture development issues, use the empirical method to analyze the factors affecting the low-carbon agriculture, including population, wealth, energy intensity, carbon intensity of agriculture, technology urbanization. Then use the empirical method to analysis efficiency of Fujian low-carbon agriculture. We can know that the comprehensive efficiency, technical efficiency and scale efficiency is well, but fertilizer, agricultural plastic film, pesticides and other input factors are too more to the output, they should be reduced. Finally, give some advices to develop the Fujian low-carbon agriculture, including increasing the level of technology, the investment in government funding, improvement and implementation of carbon emissions trading and the low-carbon agriculture ecological compensation mechanism and other measures to solve the problems of low-carbon agriculture.
