Originated in the 1950 s of the lean production was created by the Toyota motor company, The core idea of the lean production is to eliminate all waste activities which can’t help customers to increase the value, the lean management warned managers of enterprises to reduce unnecessary investment, reduce unnecessary consumption, improve the time effectiveness in the production, therefore the company can improve the productivity and achieve company established goals. Lean management mode is the worldwide advanced pattern. Numerous practice results show that the lean production mode can improve enterprise’s ability, to ensure product quality, improve production effectiveness. Lean production theory originated in manufacturing enterprises, but with the research and practice in the world, the scope of application is no longer confined to manufacturing enterprises.This text try to apply the theory of lean production on eliminating waste, based on the characteristics of the Shared Service Center company, Try to study the management activities in Trade Management Service (TMS) department in UPS Outsourcing Services (Anhui) Co., LTD. (UPS Hefei), Using the practical survey method and statistical analysis method, find the existing problems in the TMS Department and analyze the necessity of the implementation of lean Management. Introduce organization chart of TMS department, the challenge, operation flow, the operation skills and existing waste activities in TMS department. Try to develop improvement action plan, work together with all staffs to implement improving scheme and optimize operation flow, staffing deploy, shift and roster adjustment, create standardization, process control log and production management system.The text contain four parts, using lean production management to apply practice, help TMS department to improve the production effectiveness and provide reference for other departments. The first part of the text is introduce the background, purpose, significance, method and main content; The second part expounds the origins of lean production, the thought and the core idea, system structure, successful practice pattern characteristics and the necessary conditions of lead production; The third part introduce the integrated use of the basic knowledge of lean production management, understanding the company’s current situation and problems, analysis of business processes, discuss the need of the implementation of lean management. The fourth part focus on applying the idea of lean management to optimize the production process, to create operation standardization after the implementation, develop production control log to ensure that employees is follow up standardization, make ensure service quality. Finally, introduce the benefits after the implementation of lean management. Results show we are effective to solve some existing practical problems, reduce the waste during the production, reduces the production cost, improve the competitiveness of the enterprises.
