Extended Development In RTC To Implement Project Management Plug-in Into Enterprise

Nowadays there is a restriction between team members in collaborative development because of the globalization and regional of the software development environment. At the same time, there are so many software lifecycle management tools that it is difficult to integrate data between them. IBM Proposed innovative software delivery platform named Jazz to deliver software production efficiently for resolving this problem.Jazz platform is developed based on a modular architecture, and it has a good scalability. The tools those play roles in the software lifecycle management are integrated into the Jazz platform as buddle like RQM and RRC. Jazz platform implements the data sharing between the various management tools for having a unified repository to store project information. Jazz platform is innovative and practical, and more and more enterprises manage the company’s projects information and collaborate development with Jazz platform.In this thesis RTC was used to satisfy the needs of managing the iteration of the projects and controlling the source code after the detailed requirement analysis based on a real enterprise project. For project management, RTC support a little function at present. This thesis analyzed and researched the project management function which provided by RTC, and developed RTC plug-in aim at the defect.To achieve this goal, this thesis had an in-depth analysis to the underlying architecture of Jazz platform. There also had a research on how OSLC can implement software management tools’ integration like a Hub. After that, we designed and implemented the function that need to be extended, and put the plug-in into the real RTC environment.
