With the development of tobacco industry information technology, the State Tobacco Monopoly Bureau in the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" proposed to accelerate system integration, resource integration and information sharing, speed up the application platform and data center for information technology in building industry, implementing the integration strategy of "digital tobacco" with all-around resources sharing. Master Data Management Platform for the tobacco industry as an important step in the implementation of the strategy is an important part of the data center to unite the data resource and solve synergy incurred from data inconsistencies in different systems. If there is no guarantee that the business of the consistency and accuracy, data statistics caliber inconsistent, difficult issues such as effective data integration.This paper designs and implements the " Master Data Management platform in tobacco industry". The main works are as following:First, based on the discussion of basic concepts for Master Data Management, SOA and ESB technologies and corresponding solutions, the paper analyses the existing data on the status of the operation and management of the National Bureau of code management system and then summed up the requirements for new master data management platform including master data synchronization mechanism, release service interface deployment and some non-functionallity.Secondly, this paper adopts business-driven enterprise architecture planning methodology as overall system design. During the construction of industry master data management platform, application architecture and data architecture is deduced with the analysis of industry master data management business architecture following the "business-driven" method. Combined with application architecture and data architecture requirements for technical architecture design, master data management industry, a complete master data management platform architecture system is formed to effectively support the business.Thirdly, on the basis of the overall architecture, this paper designs and realizes the key module of tobacco industry platform based on SOA and ESB technologies. Functions in this module include master data services definition and management, service registration and configuration, service queries and subscriptions to publication, master data synchronization, exchange and monitoring. Each function is composed by a WebService and all the Webservices are controlled by ESB to meet the requirements of the system flexibility deployment, high scalability and high availability.With respect to master data synchronization and master data transmission, this system adopts SOA and ESB to eliminate the difference between information systems and poor communication and to guarantee the consistency between systems. Consequently, flexible deployment in business is realized to maximize the value of enterprise information and secure the tobacco business operation and strategic decisions from the information security point of view.
