In recent years, with the steady growth of China’s economy and improve people’s living standards, accompanied by increasing aging population trend, a dramatic increase in demand for the hospital. Although there are varying degrees of all levels of hospital development and reform, but the community "difficult" problem still exists. How in the context of the current size of the hospital, as much as possible to improve the efficiency and quality of work of the hospital, is the main way to solve the "difficult" problems.Thanks to the rapid development and popularization of the current computer and network information for the hospital provides a convenient operation. Based on information technology, design and development of an electronic medical record system(EMR), can greatly alleviate the hospital "difficult" issue. This article provides electronic medical records system relies on the hospital information system(HIS), can improve the medical record in ensuring the quality and stability pathogens premise of improving medical qualification rate, saving the doctor’s time, and provides physicians with valuable first-hand information.In this paper, the design and development of electronic medical records system, and is on a personal computer running the hospital, the use of C / S and B / S network architecture model, depending on the logged-on user permissions can view the patient’s medical information. This architecture model allows physicians to run the client program on a computer in the office, secure access to patient medical information, and patients can log on at home, the hospital’s HIS system, use a browser to easily check their medical information. Hospital medical records system will create a file for each patient, which makes a huge database, we use SQL Server 2005 database management system, its powerful and stable, can provide reliable background support for the database system. The system software code written using C + + language done in Visual Studio 2010(VS2010) environment. C + + as an object- oriented language, still inherits many advantages of C language, although you will be higher than the complexity of java, C # and other high-level language, but it has an unparalleled code execution efficiency, it is present in large software, the most widely used high-level language. VS2010 is a Microsoft developed an integrated compiler environment, its presence can make C + + programming more convenient.In this paper, the program design process in strict accordance with the processes of software engineering, system design and implementation of a software system to achieve all the functional requirements of the proposed hospital, and stable operation. On this basis, code clarity and highly independent modules are easily achieved.
