In this way, the working efficiency is low, error rate large, resource sharing inconvenient and difficult to statistical data analysis and many other disadvantages filling demonstrated. The electronic medical record system is patient-centered, clinical workflow as the main workflow, integrated with the hospital information system, the full integrated system of information and medical records, patient care, eliminating defects manual records.In this article, Eye Hospital in Fuzhou, southeast of medical information software engineering project as the background, and the demand of the Ministry of Health hospital information management, information management from the status quo and create fine hospital hospital’s needs, to software engineering as guidance, from a clinical point of view needs analysis, module design, to standardize case management for the purpose, to achieve rapid ophthalmologist medical records, and to provide the best platform to serve the Eye Hospital, medical management, data monitoring current operating conditions.The system uses PowerBuilder as a development tool, Oracle 10 g database based on database development, support the development and management of ophthalmic medical templates. This paper presents the need to adapt to the characteristics of ophthalmology hospital electronic medical record management, design and technology,has a representative, the system has been successfully developed and applied, to better play the advantages of ophthalmology hospital information system to improve the efficiency of hospital treatment and service levels, and bring good economic benefits tothe hospital.
