4 m x 3 m wind tunnel is the main productive low speed wind tunnel in China, with the best flow field quality, the highest degree of automation, the strongest wind tunnel experiment ability. Equipment maintenance of the wind tunnel mainly adopts the combination of regular maintenance and later maintenance mode. Because of overcapacity and deficiency of these two kinds of maintenance mode, we need to establish a model based on state, namely autonomous maintenance support mode. Information platform is the most important part in the construction of maintenance support system, which will influence the construction of the whole system directly. Therefore, this topic studied the current development situation of the platform in domestic and overseas adequately, analyzed the demand of the software, determined the research content and the detailed design method of autonomous maintenance support system software platform for 4 m x 3 m wind tunnel is also proposed.The software platform uses distributed three layer system structure. From top to bottom, it can be divided into presentation layer, business layer and data layer. The data layer is responsible for the state of the equipment’s real-time acquisition, processing, testing, emergency alarm and database services; Business application layer below the business layer is responsible for the complete system, including data analysis, state distribution, fault modeling and reasoning, fault diagnosis and forecast, as well as the equipment life prediction and optimal maintenance decision-making management. The presentation layer is mainly responsible for user’s access authentication, information navigation, information release, service orientation and service processing management, etc. This system has realized the condition detection, fault diagnosis, the fault prediction and equipment management which uses a variety of techniques to ensure the reliability of the system.After completion of the system, we tested the system source code, debugged the software system and business function. After that, cases are also tested as well. From the debugging results, this software system is running normally, which implements the four function modules reserve function, achieving the expected design purpose. From the running results, we found that the establishment of the system sharply improved the scientific level of intelligent of the equipment maintenance management, improved the efficiency of the equipment from operation and maintenance, the timeliness and economy is also enhanced at the same time. In addition, this program has very high value and referential meaning for exploring equipment which use mechanical and electrical as the core component.
