Virtual reality system is a cross of many disciplines integrated technology, and relates to computer graphics, human-computer interaction technology, sensor technology, artificial intelligence and so on, it can be seen, the 3D data and image generation approximation of the real world to hear, make the person can naturally experience and interaction in the virtual world. Virtual reality system in medical, industry,agriculture, service industry, military and education, have a positive application.Data visualization is an important part of virtual reality system, and every day at mass data need to be analyzed and processed today, more highlighted its research value and social significance. Emergency drills also serve as an important application area of virtual reality system, as is of great value to improve the human ability to resist disasters and deal with disasters; and through the virtual reality platform of the drill can save drilling cost in real environment, can also be regular personnel training, greatly improving the efficiency of drilling.This article is part of a virtual reality system of ViWo, and design and implement the data visualization module and emergency drilling module based on ViWo. Is mainly based on ViWo’s terrain and special effect modules, combined with large-scale data processing and network communication, the realization can be used for data visualization user interaction and emergency drills. Specific include the following several parts of work:(1) Reoptimization of basic math library, virtual reality system of ViWo frame and micro kernel.Extended system for user interactive mouse and keyboard events distribution, rich data structure,streamlined system kernel and plug-ins, ViWo designed a micro kernel architecture framework of a set of interrelated.(2) The design and implementation of data visualization plugin modules. This module implements to show the visualization in ViWo system and the interaction of external mass data, including the mapping and system integration and interaction of three parts of large-scale data analysis and pretreatment, color value mapping, the module provides common external processing interface for external use.(3) The design and implementation of emergency drilling module. The module with the special effects in the ViWo module has been realized with the emergency events, the evolving dynamic virtualdisplay function, which includes atomic event triggered processing mechanism and event correlation distribution mechanism part.(4) Emergency drill module, realize the algorithm analysis and design of single source shortest path in graph theory based on.
