| Archives journals play a significant role in archives cause. They promote academic research of archives and growth of archives work. As social media, archives journals are also a crucial way to transmit archival culture. Most of Chinese archives journals were founded in the 1980s and into steady growth in the 1990s. After thirty years of development history, archival science journals make significant contribution to Chinese archives cause. However, there are some unsolved issues in archives journals currently, such as the reduction of key journal numbers, poor academic value and ill over-identification of archives journals and so on.At present, domestic studies of archives journals are generally based on paper instead of real work, which leads to Limitation of studies. This paper systematically investigates Chinese archives journals and focuses on the Archives and Construction magazine, combined with analysis of available research and practical experience of the author to propose countermeasures to make a better future of archives journals.The full test includes five parts as follows.Chapter 1:Introduction section introduces the background of this research and development history of Chinese archives journals, summarizes available domestic and foreign research. This part also defines related concepts of this research, and describes the structure, methods and main content of this article.Chapter 2:This part summarizes the current status of archives journals from regional distribution, publication cycle, organizers, journal types, reach of distribution, content structure,counts relevant data of Chinese archives journals from 2005 to 2014. Upon the data, this part reviews achievements and shortcomings of archives journals in 10 years development.Chapter 3:This part focuses on Archives and Construction, collects relevant data from 2005 to 2014 firstly and then sums up author’s practical experience getting during working in Archives and Construction. At last, this part concludes achievements and unsolved issues of Archives and Construction.Chapter 4:On the basic of above research, this part propose three countermeasures, seeking social cooperation, changing the mindset positively, making rational use of archives administrative resources, to make a better future of archives journals.Chapter 5:The conclusion section summarizes research results and makes advices on how to push the development of archives journals.The major innovations of this article includes the research method combined with paper analysis and Summary of practical experiences, and the view that poor academic value of archives journals is caused by poor quality of practicing article, upon this view, this article makes targeted response. |
