Research On Strategies Of The Public Relations In The Process Of Construction Of Public Archives

Nowadays, with the continuous development of information technology, people’s desirefor the degree of information is much higher than ever before. Meanwhile, with theimplementation of government information, people’s information public awareness ofdemocratic rights is growing, and seeking justice and equal rights awareness information hasbecome increasingly prominent. As cultural institutions, archives store valuable informationresource to provide archival information resources services for the community. Therefore, thearchives must seize this rare opportunity to innovation services, accelerate the process ofopening, shape the image archives, improve social influence, and provide cultural services forthe government and the public to build a true public archives.Public Archives’ building can not leave out the support and collaboration of the public.Influenced by traditional work environment and management, the construction of publicarchives is still in its infancy, and social influence is still relatively weak, so I think it has ainseparable relationship with the lack of awareness with public relation. Therefore, I believethe construction of the public archives should be based on the point of public relations,establish good communication channels between the public and public archives, provide agood environment for the construction and development of the public archives.This paper is divided into four parts, the first part describes the background of thedevelopment of public archives, and cites a portion of theoretical perspectives with thecombination of public relations; The second has a brief introduction to the theory of publicarchives and public relations; the third part analyzes the problems encountered during thedevelopment of the public archives; The fourth part is based on the issues previously raised,the author proposes strategies and recommendations to carry out the process of building thepublic archives with public relations; the fifth part is conclusion. I hope that this article canmake a theoretical contribution to the development of public archives of China.
