The pros and cons of power quality parameters are necessary condition of the decision of whether the quality of power supply system is good or bad. The generator sets provide power for a variety of equipments, and the requirements for power quality are higher and higher, therefore, research on their quality has significant meaning. Power quality parameters test platform system can get the output power generator related parameters. After an oscilloscope acquisition, data storage, spectrum analysis, waveform display, report generation and other steps, making the power quality parameters achieved.The experimental design for the power quality parameters testing system mainly contains the followings:(1)proceeding characteristic analysis for the power quality parameters, including surge voltage, peak pulse voltage, steady-state voltage, the voltage recovery time, and ripple voltage.(2)Researching the control algorithms which is apply to the researching system of the power quality parameters of generator testing rig. Basing on the analysis of control system model, design a closed-loop control scheme of AC drive motor speed to enable the exchange of drag-generator set when motor speed is changing, rapidly response, to ensure the output power remains constant. In addition, through the analysis of the motor at special work condition, we proceed a further improved control strategy and propose a fuzzy-PID control algorithm.(3)In this thesis, I introduce the generator testing rig, beyond that, the thesis also detailed designed a power quality parameters testing system from hardware and software two ways. The hardware side, in order to achieve to requirement of the testing system, I completed the machine and electrical design, data acquisition system design, controller design; The software side, testing system selects the PC-DAQ method as the virtual instrument testing system, which is according to a graphical programming language LabVIEW as the software develop-ment platform to achieve the virtual digital oscilloscope system design. The virtual oscilloscope system mainly consists of the data acquisition module, data processing module, data modules and so on.Basing on the existing experimental conditions and the GJB298-87testing standards, the power quality testing trials introduce the details of the experimental objective, analysis and result.The practical operation shows that the system is reliable and accurate, software user-friendly, easy to use, and achieves the project’s technical requirements. The deep research for virtual instrument is the main direction of the research in the future.
