In recent years, therapid development of virtualization technology, has been developed and applied inmany industries, how to build the technique into the data center to go, this hasbecome the focus of attention at home and abroad in Colleges and universities.In this paper, through the investigation and analysis of process of constructionand operation in the traditional data center, in order to solve these problems, thisstudy was put forward the construction target. The basis for further research offunctional characteristics of virtual products in full virtualization technology development and the manufacturers of, chooses the VMware vSphere virtualplatform as the project construction platform. According to the actual situation of thedata center of the Hainan College of Vocation and Technique, designed a set offeasible construction scheme, and the scheme is implemented successfully, andachieved satisfactory results.Data center using VMware vSphere virtual platform construction later, thequantity of hardware is greatly less, save construction costs, reduce energyconsumption, save room space, but also reduce the difficulty of management.Through the application of vMotion, DRS and advanced features such as HA virtualplatform, realizes the data center server in the cluster hardware resources unifieddynamic allocation and scheduling, resource utilization rate from less than10%increased to more than80%, and the entire data center reliability and businesscontinuity can be a reliable guarantee.
