In1989,the Tibetan TV set on the satellite, opened the prelude of domestic satellite TV. Inthe past25years, the competition in domestic television market became increasingly fierce.In1990, the word "core competence" was put forward jointly by the American scholar Prahalad andBritish scholars Gary Hamel, since then,"core competence" as the core theory of modernenterprise cannot be ignored in development.With the industrialization of Chinese media,"corecompetence" has been extended to this field, and has become one of the fundamental theories ofenterprise competitive advantage in studying media. In the new century, China’s media industry’sdevelopment accelerates, in order to obtain competitive advantage in the increasingly fiercemarket competition, the modern media group pay more and more attention to build the corecompetitiveness.In2004, Shenzhen TV went to the star, after nine years of development, it become the newTV both have influence and reputation.Its success can not be separate with its corecompetitiveness building. With precise brand positioning, news strengthening strategy,international vision and the implementation of the strategy of "going out" and so on, Shenzhensatellite TV realize the differentiation development; More over, Shenzhen satellite TV give fullplay to the team’s innovative, create brand column and form innovative variety shows, and at thesame time, it carry on the system and mechanism innovation, fully integrate group advantageresources, all those practice constitute the core competitiveness of the Shenzhen satellite TVand make it stand out.Thus, Shenzhen TV vault into the national TV top ten camp withoutstanding performance.Analyse and study the development status quo of Shenzhen satellite TV,and excavate its core competitiveness, can fill the domestic blank in the research of provincialsatellite TV, the study on Shenzhen TV is of great significance to the development of domesticsatellite TV in the future.Therefore, this article study on the core competitiveness of Shenzhensatellite TV has both theoretical significanceand practical significance.
