University Library is an important part of the library community, who charged withproviding information services for teaching, researching and discipline construction. Thispaper analysed hot areas in University Library, which could provide better informationservices for readers, and enhance the core competitiveness of the university library, andprovide the basis for the construction and development of University Library, and lay thefoundation for the theory of library science. This paper counted the high-frequency keywordsin the paper of University Library by co-word analysis, then draw hot spot in the field.Co-word analysis is a common method in information metrology, it is mainly to express aparticular subject area, or professional terms, through the co-occurrence in an. Then determinethe relationship between topics, and show the structure of the discipline. Through analysis, thekeywords can be classified according to a "relevant" and " similar" depend on the distance,and reflecting the closeness of the relationship between these words, in order to analyze thesebranch of learning.This paper intends to use "college library research " as the keyword to search paper fromCNKI between1999and2013,then take these keywords as a research object. Throughstatistical analysis, choice a higher frequency appears which can represent library research,take use of Bicomb, SPSS, to analysis these date. Show the relationship between the varioushigh-frequency word based on factor analysis, cluster analysis and multidimensional scalinganalysis in SPSS17.0and Ucinet6.0. According to the results of the analysis, showing thecurrent research focus areas of the University Library, and reveals the future developmentdirection of university libraries research. This paper provides experts and scholars areference, and provides an entry point for the library science research topics, and reference formore in-depth study.
