This paper attempts to integrate ‘History and Society’ with local culture through researching on integrative teaching, so as to make full use of some terrific local cultures in teaching, which can effectively alleviate the situation on the shortage of teaching resources in new curriculum. By the example of Liangzhu culture, the representative of the region cultures in Yuhang District, this paper studies on the value of available Liangzhu culture resources for the integration with teaching, comprehensively analyzes the feasibility of the associated combination between Liangzhu culture resources and ‘History and Society’ teaching, and conducts the attempts of integrative teaching. With exploitation of curriculum resources as the main method, by working out learning resources packages, offering comprehensive research class, organizing students into practical activities, guiding students to investigative study and many other kinds of forms, we can purposively explore the resources that can be supplemented into textbooks and resolve doubtful and difficult points in teaching from Liangzhu culture, then associatively combine them into teaching and launch integrative teaching on ‘History and Society’. Through a series of works on developing and researching, we draw a conclusion in the paper, that it is realistic to launch integrative teaching with the main method of exploitation of curriculum resources. It can not only make effective exploitation of local cultures in curriculum and achieve the goal to fit in new education courses, but also endow the class of ‘History and Society’ more local characteristics, make both flourish in class and embody a new concept of Curriculum Reformation.
