The MOOC Analysis In Universities Under The Sight Of Communication Perspective

As the development of modern network technology, the new media technology is influencing and changing the field of education deeply, bringing the brand new possibilities for transformation of education."MOOC" is short for "Massive Open Online Courses", Chinese translation "Muke". It is a new education modal which is derived from ordinary network courses under new media time. MOOC arises in western and then all over the world soon. In recent two years, MOOC makes great development by using multimedia interactive methods and has been innovation in traditional education.The article studies MOCC’s development, mode of transmission, and principles of education. Meanwhile it explores the cause of this rapid development and its influence to universities (including full time college, university and graduate school) in our country. It aims to further explore that faced the shock of new media technology, the traditional education should do what to respond. The article suggest that the universities in our country not only need to keep inherent advantage of the traditional teaching methods, but also need to realize socialization of educational resources sharing to increase the educational efficiency in universities.This article also arranges the process of the development from modern distance education to MOOC, introduces the state of development of MOOC in both domestic and overseas. According to compare the research of documents, the analysis of models, and investigations, can conclude the obvious different between original network education and MOOC. Therefore we can further analyze the communication principles, communication characteristics, communication modes and communication effects of MOOC from the angle of communication studies. According to combine the principles of MOOC education and both advantages and disadvantages of communication modes, it can be summarized that:1. MOOC can be broadly accepted while it has barely satisfactory; the communication model of MOOC needs more development in further; 2. MOOC will bring remarkable effects for domestic education and organization development.In conclusion, the author advises that:1. Achieve organic integration between existing university education mode and MOOC; 2. Develop a completed communication system; 3. Set up detailed and large-scale network data system; 4. Build international curriculum with Chinese characteristics.
