Rhetoric Teaching issues always raise considerable concern. However, the cognition and practical operation of rhetoric teaching always bother the teachers on the front line, and from practical operation and the effect, it seems not so ideal. So we put forward that the origin of this issue lies in the ambiguity of "what to teach "on Rhetoric Teaching, namely the deviation and chaos of content of rhetoric teaching, which definitely leads to the difficulty of the practice on rhetoric teaching.On chapter1,I define the concept of rhetoric in Chinese course of Junior high school and elaborate its status and values in Chinese course of Junior high school.On chapter2,I analyze the existing problems on the content of Chinese rhetoric teaching in Junior high school and briefly put forward the new ideas for that. The author analyzes it from two aspects:the content of Chinese rhetoric curriculum and instruction in Junior High School. Firstly, I systemize the rhetoric content on curriculum criterion and textbooks and meanwhile analyze and evaluate the ambiguous rhetoric content. Secondly, from two levels of teacher and students, I try to inspect and analyze the implementation effect in the process of rhetoric teaching content.Finally, I put forward the brief strategies of solving problems:one is to confirm the base of rhetoric teaching content, and another is to find the way to carry out the content of rhetoric teaching content.On chapter3, I try to construct the base which can confirm the content of rhetoric teaching, that is, the system of Chinese rhetoric course in Junior High School. Firstly, author analyzes numerous rhetoric systems in the course of "Contemporary Chinese Language" in universities and attempt to protocol a steady system of rhetoric knowledge so that teachers master related theoretical knowledge. Secondly, I make it clear and definite that there’s no distinct rhetoric content, and therefore attempt to construct the system of Chinese rhetoric course content in Junior High School to reveal "what to teach" in rhetoric of Chinese teaching practice.On chapter4, I explore the path of implementing the rhetoric content teaching:deciding the rhetoric teaching content.Author brings "style" into Chinese teaching, for getting rid of the sluggish language-analyzing situation to restore the lifeful language. Through dividing the selections in Chinese textbooks of Junior High School into Literary style, blend style and non-literary style, I ascertain the rhetoric content of voice, expression, sentence, text structure and figure of speech based on different stylistic features.In the text, I apply theoretical discussion and empirical study to my study, and confirm the content of Chinese rhetoric teaching from discussing the content of Chinese rhetoric course, and attempt to offer a valid approach in Chinese rhetoric teaching of junior high school.
