Analysis Of The Reasons Why The Russian Communist Party Lost The Youth

The Communist Party of Russian Federation (Russian Communist Party for abbreviation) was founded on June,1990. It has lived through 22 years so far and experienced a process from nonexistence to existence, from weakness to strength, and from strength to weakness. As the biggest left-wing party and opposition party, the Russian Communist Party has made remarkable achievements in 1990s and become the biggest party in State Duma and it can exert rather strong influence on the government and the president.But after entering the 21st century, the political and social influence of Russian Communist Party keeps decreasing and is in a bleak situation and is stuck in a predicament. At the same time, the youth problems begin to manifest:the diminishing of the attraction to the youth, the decrease of the youth supporters, and the shrinkage and separation of the young party members and organizations, which become troubles impeding the development of Russian Communist Party and a critical issue whether Russian Communist Party can survive in long run. The youth is the future and foundation of the party. The successful dealing with its youth problems and the relation with the youth are the focus of its work and the foundation and determining factor of its development. The shrinkage of the youth in the party, the discrepancy of the youth have something to do with both the interior reasons of Russian Communist Party and the exterior of Russia social and political reasons.
