Objective: To assess the correlations between ventilation function and respiratory impedance in patients with bronchial asthma. Methods: The IOS indices of 32 cases of patients with bronchial asthma Were measured and compared with the indices of pulmonary ventilation function test and lung capacity test.Results:1. Zrs、R5、、R35、Fres were negatively correlated with FEV1/pre%、FEV1/FVC%(p<0.05), R20 were negatively correlated with FEV1/pre% and there was no significant correlation with FEV1/FVC%;2. X5 and X35 were positively correlated with FEV1/pre%、FEV1/FVC%(p<0.05);3. The closest correlation was found between Fres and FEV1/pre%、FEV1/FVC%;4. There was no significant correlation between R20% and FEV1/pre%、FEV1/FVC%(p>0.05).Conclusions:IOS can reflect the genius morbid of bronchial asthma which are increasly of airway resistance and hyperinflation of periphery lung tissue, had a good correlation with ventilation function. IOS is of value in clinic.
